Magic Hungary tour
A full-day guided bus tour to important landmarks of Hungarian history and culture. We leave Budapest and visit one of the most beautiful natural reserve areas in Hungary, the Danube Bend.
The castle’s renovated premises introduce the history of the castle through the objects exhibited, the famous people who have been there and the royal residents of the castle. The castle was built by Grassalkovich I. Antal in 1735 and it had it’s second golden age in the time of the Austro-Hungarian Monarchy.
The Time of the Grassalkovich art exhibition shows the family who built the castle and brings back the baroque era. The castle museum has a separate art exhibition devoted to Queen Elizabeth, who was modern-minded and admired all over the world and spent more time in Gödöllő than in Schönbrunn.

This is followed by a visit to the Lázár Horse Park, where you are offered a Hungarian "Pogácsa" accompanied by a glass of our national welcome drink, the "pálinka". Horsemen then take us on a carriage ride, and then a traditional horse-show is performed by the Hungarian cowboys. The park was planned and built by the coach-driving world champion Lázár siblings, which combines the atmosphere of Hungarian villages through this European standard horse base, which offers an eminent Hungarian cuisine. The tour ends in the city centre of Budapest.
