Cultural Tourism

The main goal of the Jewish Cultural Festival is to become an important factor in the cultural tourism of the Hungarian capital and to play a role in the further development of the Jewish quarter of Budapest. In recent years, the festival has deservedly become a recognized and prestigious event in the capital’s artistic life.

As we have had a difficult year due to the pandemic, the motto of this year’s festival is „We tune to joie de vivre”. The colorful program includes concerts of popular and classical music, and literary and children’s programs, performed by Hungarian and international performers.

We are pleased to invite you to the 25th Jewish Cultural Festival, where our kind guests will once again be able to meet the stars of the Hungarian and international music scene – not to mention that in addition to the traditional synagogue venues, this time we will also be hosting programs at the House of Music Hungary.

We are sure that not only our returning visitors but first-timers will also be delighted by the particularly rich program of this year’s event series, which will run from 3 September to 11 September. We have always focused on high-quality artistic entertainment, but this year we have tried even harder to offer programs that will help us all forget the terrible years of the epidemic we hope to have left behind.

This year’s series of programs promises to be unique: we will offer more than 24 musical, literary, and artistic programs in seven venues, in the hope that many of us will be together again for the celebration of Hungarian and Jewish culture.
