Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships 2024 in Budapest

Get ready for an exhilarating showcase of rhythmic gymnastics as Budapest, the stunning Hungarian capital, plays host to this year’s European Championships from May 22nd to May 26th, 2024.

With 340 gymnasts from 40 countries set to compete, including 218 seniors and 122 juniors, this event promises to be an extraordinary display of talent. Seniors will compete individually and in groups, while juniors will showcase their skills as individual gymnasts.

Rhythmic gymnastics, a fusion of ballet, dance, and gymnastics, captivates audiences with its intricate routines and elaborate apparatus use. Gymnasts perform with five apparatus: rope, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon, showcasing their agility and grace.

Each routine, lasting 75-90 seconds for individuals and 2.15-2.30 minutes for groups, is choreographed to music, adding an extra layer of artistry to the performances. A panel of four judges assesses the technical, artistic, and execution aspects of the routines, ensuring fair and accurate scoring.
