Sziget takes place from 10 to 15 August on the Óbuda Island in Budapest in Hungary. Every year, thousands of Szitizens from all over the world travel to the Hungarian capital and seek out The Island Of Freedom in the Danube.
For six days, you will see a varied programme of great music performances on the island, as well as new music, theatre, circus, workshops, dancing, art, food & drinks and much more.
There are several ways to travel to Sziget, with train and bus being some of the cleanest options. The journey to Budapest is already an adventure in itself, and you might even make some new festival friends along the way. Another convenient option is traveling by plane. Budapest has a well-connected international airport, with many flights arriving daily from all over the world. Once you arrive, you can easily make your way to Sziget by taxi, public transport, or shuttle bus. And for those who prefer to drive, you can park your car safely in one of the guarded parking lots near the festival grounds.
For six days, you can enjoy all the beauty that Sziget has to offer. From the biggest artists like Billie Eilish, David Guetta, and Imagine Dragons, to discovering new music. There are all kinds of workshops, yoga, dancing, talks, games and way more! You can also see art: take a look at The Art Of Freedom where special art objects are placed.
